2015 Picnic Details
2015 summer’s OFA picnic and business meeting will be held at the Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve located near Bartlesville, Oklahoma on June 6th at noon. The picnic will be held at the first pavilion just past the entrance gate to the right. The pavilion has picnic tables for forty, but bringing your own chair is highly encouraged.
The facility has agreed to allow us entry at the reduce rate of $5.00 per adult (anyone over 12). To receive the reduced rate just let the guard know that you are there for the OFA Club picnic.
Get there early and take advantage of the OFA workshop, begins at 10:00 am, which demonstrates how to make paracord jesses and jess extenders. Those attending will be making jesses with all materials will be provided. Then stay late to visit the impressive museum, petting zoo, lodge with hundreds of exotic animal mounts, and beautiful grounds the Woolaroc has to offer.
The main course will be provided along with potato salad, beans and utensils. As in the past, we are asking that members bring their own drinks and an item for the meal.
